Behind the Art at Mentor
Condado’s 32nd store is inspired by Mentor itself (remember the “T” is silent for Mentor). The theme is centered around the Museum of Mystical Margaritas and Twisted Tacos, a nod to the magic and mysticism of this city’s heritage. Gasp in awe and terror as you marvel at the sites, the sounds, and the stories behind this twisted cabinet of delicious curiosities. Sideshow characters are evident: fortune tellers, strong men and shrunken heads. Local Kirtland Melonheads is an area leg-end, and the art represents these free spirits running amuck throughout the Kirtland forests, again all part of the cryptic folklore. A gillman can be spotted in the Mentor marsh. Taco monkeys have a mission of fiercely defending the forest of taco trees in Judy’s Jungle.
