Condado Tacos Promenade on Providence

Came in Sunday afternoon September 22. 1st visit ever. Hostess was welcoming and kind. We were seated. Another couple was seated shortly after us. We waited and waited then the 1 server that finally showed up went to the other couple 1st. Even though we were here 1st. Never saw the hostess again. And only one server for 6 tables. Watched several couples get up and have to ask for things...water, box. Very unfortunate. Saw another server about 20 minutes after being seated. Both just slow and non observant. 😒 Even though she got better as we were eating she was not very warm or friendly. My food was actually really good. My husband didnt care for his. I used Condado to cater my wedding recently and I couldn't say enough good things about the experience. Not only was the managers fantastic, but the crew that came to keep everything fresh was amazing! Everyone could not stop talking about how good the food was. Really the food here is amazing no matter what you order.

The food was great! Lots of taco, nacho and bowl options along with endless sauces and salsa's. Wonderful margarita's! Very friendly staff!

We went to this location last night - We sat outside and the mosquitos were really bad - There is a construction site next door and looks like there is standing water over there. We had to wait for a greeting and the manager got us a guacamole which was very nice. Our server was nice and helpful. As soon as our food arrived it started raining - Heavily - There was no "gameplan" for dealing with a pop up rain shower - Things like bringing out boxes so we could box our food before it got soaked OR an Umbrella you could bring to at least those tables with food esp since there were no tables open. We did not get to finish our meals - When these things happen it's a great opportunity to make a raving fan in the way you handle it - We will not be back, but our server was so kind and helpful. Hope you can come up with a solution for mosquitoes and a gameplan to deal with the rain - We would love to see thriving restaurants in that area to encourage more - We live about 3 min away. Thanks
